Tapioca Burger

Burger Fillings

  • Cooked burger patty
  • Cheese
  • Tomato slices
  • Lettuce
  • Onion
  • Your choice of sauce

Tapioca "buns"

  • 160g Brazilian Tapioca starch (80g per bun)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your burger patty as usual and set aside with your chosen toppings.

  2. If possible, use a small frying pan to match the burger size. You can trim the edges after cooking if needed.

  3. Warm a dry frying pan over medium heat for about a minute.

  4. Sift approximately 80g of tapioca evenly into the pan. Let it cook for around 2 minutes, or until the edges start to lift.

  5. Remove the first bun and repeat to make the second.

  6. Stack your fillings between the two tapioca buns like a regular burger.
